Lake Shirakawa Canoe Tour (June – November) Enjoy a relaxing canoe experience surrounded by the magnificent nature of Lake Shirakawa.
This 2-hour guided activity lets you fully enjoy your time on the calm lake, feeling the beauty of each season reflected on the water and mountains. Experience a special moment for your senses — the gentle breeze, the sparkle on the lake, and the colorful scenery that changes throughout the year.
In autumn, the vibrant fall foliage creates a breathtaking view, perfect for a peaceful escape in the fresh mountain air of Yamagata. Our friendly guides will teach you how to paddle safely, so even complete beginners and families with children can enjoy with confidence.
We use stable canoes and kayaks that are easy to handle, making it safe and fun for everyone. Dogs are also welcome! You can share this memorable experience with your furry friend.
The meeting point is directly connected to the parking area, so there’s no waiting time. ▪️Canoe Bring-Your-Own Discount If you wish to participate using your own canoe, please select the “Canoe Bring-Your-Own Discount” option.
After your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a ¥2,000 discount per person.

  • Wear clothes that are easy to move in (long sleeves and long pants are recommended in summer to prevent sunburn and insect bites. Water falling from the paddle will especially get wet)
